What was inside of the tip that you heated up, noticed it looked like just a typical glue stick like material? I'm ordering a fly rod eyelet to repair one of my ice rods and need some guidance on bonding material/brand to use, thanks in advance.

I have been using Sno seal for about 40 years and it's a great product ,if you use it on fabric apply until the fabric will not take in anymore Sno Seal then you will know it's completely waterproof

I don’t think anyone mentioned the cleaning lever. It needs to be up to light and down to burn. If it’s in the down position it will flood like you described

Always use "enough" fresh Coleman fuel in the tank . Pump it up until there is very firm resistance on the pump. I'm guessing it's the generator, however ; ... there's a small wire crank opposite the valve. Crank it several times and then position the crank handle pointed downward. Attemp to light it per the instructions printed on the lantern. IF. ... that doesn't work change the generator. If that's N0T the problem at least you'll have a spare.

I add a piece of fabric over the clips and webbing because the top of the clips tend to snag the seat cushion over time. This way you can flip the cushion over time without seeing small areas where the metal clip tops have worn into the cushion.

I was thinking of using this on L.L. Bean pack boots with the canvas uppers. I would think it should help keep them waterproof for a season of use. I think putting the boots and the Sno Seal in the sun on a hot day, apply it, then hit the boots with a blow dryer to melt it in would work.

Late to the party here, but I'll give you my 2 cents on snoseal. This stuff is great. I've never used it on cloth but on all leather items. What I do for gloves is heat up an oven snow seal them and put them into the oven to bake it in then when the leather is still warm keep rubbing the snow seal in and be super generous with with application. Put the item back in the oven and melt that in and keep doing this three or four times until its fully saturated. Let the item cool and then apply another coat to the cooled item. If you don't want the tackyness you need to bake them more. If you don't mind the tackyness the snoseal will last longer in between applications. It's great for leather work gloves and boots just use more than you think and really, really rub it in and heat up whatever your applying it to to melt in on.

I laughed when just before you bit into the Big Turk, said, "a traditional candy bar" 😂 I'm the same, I can never decide whether I like or dislike it. Every few years I buy one and decide then. It changes. There are plenty of non-peanut chocolate bars. I had to stop eating peanuts a few years back and do miss the Wunderbar and the Cherry Blossom. Eatmore was my favourite as a kid. I've heard of Pal o Mine but have never seen nor bought one. From what I understand they're only in the Maritime provinces and I was there only once, once many years ago. Next time you're there check out the Coffee Crisp, Wunderbar, Aero Mint and Crispy Crunch; also chips such as Ruffles All Dressed, Ketchup (take your pick as they all taste different) and Miss Vickie's Spicy Dill Pickle.

Great video. Thank you. Does stapling upholstery fabric over the strapping enhance the comfort or is it strictly cosmetic? I imagine the fabric would add comfort and act as a hammock of sorts. Where as straps alone might have pressure points. Wondering if I need to bother ordering the fabric for my home projects or if it's fine with enough straps woven together.

I am Canadian, and I have never seen or heard of Palo Mine (I am in Ontario). Of the others, the only one I have ever had was Glosette, but I much prefer the raisin Glosette (they are actually a favourite of mine). None of these are super popular in Canada. The most popular candy here would likely be Coffee Crisp, Smarties, Oh Henry, Mars, Kit Kat, Crispy Crunch, Mr Big.

Holy hell. I wish my lantern burned as well as that. If you see yours as bad then mine is a massive fire hazard and has been since new (Approx. 1995). Mine, when cold especially, has always produced a very large orange flame that leaves a lot of soot on the green hood/cover. In fact the flames are so big dirty, for the first 30 seconds after lighting it they rise a good 3 to 4 inches above the lantern. Is it not supposed to do that? They do mostly go away after the lantern is hot

Reading and strictly following the lighting instructions decal on the unit has a strange way of solving a lot of Coleman pressure lantern and stove problems.

  • @flawlessdigitalphotography4935

I have this lantern, just back from camping and it got knocked off the table by a drunk neighbour from the tent next door, the frame bottom is no longer staying attached to the collar so i can't reassemble it securely, it all keeps lifting away from the collar above the fuel tank once reassembled.....any ideas if a clip has came away and ive missed seeing it when it fell or similar? im sure it's a fairly easy fix, theyre built to last :)

Wow! Thank you for this!! There are a few videos on this recipe but yours is really easy to follow. I especially love the reuse of the corn cobs. This is unique and not in any other recipe I’ve seen so far. Regardless, after watching a dozen videos on recipes for it, I chose yours. Honestly glad I did. I’ve made many chicken, beef and vegetable stock. Never a lobster stock. I am going to use this to make a lobster bisque. A couple differences with mine…. I didn’t have half eaten corn. I bought fresh and just cooked this an extra 1.5 hours to really soften up the corn. It seemed a little to firm to complete at the 3 hrs. And I added a couple things…. Don’t hate me to say…. I added a small dash of Old Bay, 1 tsp of Cayenne and 1 tsp of paprika. Sorry…. Don’t hate me. Regardless, this tastes amazing and I cannot wait to use it! It seriously is good enough to drink straight, like you did in video! Thank you four posting this recipe!

I got a 200a it was acting the same way for 2 days and it would go up into flames, idk what it was but it started working aftering accepting that its haunted and needs a rebuild and then it turned on just perfectly fine, it wasnt a bright flame though so then i pumped the lantern a few more times and it got very bright, since then i just pump the heck out of it and it turns on

What was your experience with their shipping like?? My first oder back in January 2023 took a week for them to ship. I chalked it up to being slow after Christmas. My latest order, according to Duckworth email was to arrive on 3/1/23. One week after I ordered it. Currently it still has not shipped, ordered 10 days ago.Duckworth Customer Service has not responded to my email. I'd cancel the order but I was given a gift certificate to Duckworth. I don't want to lose the order, Powder hoodie at $175.00. Company sounds good but no follow through.
